Echelon Press & Quake

To be eligible for 30 invoicing you are required to have a federal and/or state tax ID number.  We offer discounts on any size order, with five or more copies earning additional discounts! As a partner with Echelon Press, LLC and our division imprints you will receive important notices regarding sales and promotions. 

As divisions of Echelon Press, LLC, Quake and Echelon Press products may be combined to qualify for larger discounts.

Discount Schedule for U.S. Book Retailers & Libraries

Wholesalers and distributors receive a standard 55% discount on all quantities.

1-4 items, assorted 40%
5-99 items, assorted 45%
100+ items, assorted 50%

You may choose one of these additional discount options for your order (Canadian orders excluded).  For international orders please call 410-878-7113.

Pre-Publication Discount Option
Earn an extra 5% discount on all pre-publication orders of 4 or more copies of a single title, actual shipping charged.  Pre-publication orders must be placed at least 30 days prior to the titles pre-determined release date.

Case Lot Option
Earn an extra 5% discount on all orders for case lot quantities of a single title, single destination, actual shipping charged. To receive the Case Lot order discount, all titles on the order must be in case lot quantities. You may authorize Quake to always round-up to the nearest full case lot.

Transportation Options
Pre-pay for your order with a check or money order and receive free shipping within the contiguous USA. Pre-pub or case lot orders using pay in advance with check or money order will receive a 50% discount on shipping.

 
Payment Terms
Net 30 days, unless otherwise determined before shipment of orders.

Accounts that are past due are put on Credit Hold--no further shipments will be made until the account is cleared and credit is reinstated. Accounts that exceed 90 days past due will incur a 2% penalty on the amount owed every 30 days.

Quake does not accept starter checks or counter checks. Name and address information along with check number must be pre-printed on the check.

Returns Privilege may be revoked for accounts past due. Regardless, Echelon Press, LLC retains a prior claim against all creditors on all merchandise that has not been paid for and may demand its return in saleable condition shipping free.  Returns in non-saleable condition will not be credited.

No new orders will be filled for customers whose accounts are 60 days past due date.

Returns

1. Overstocks must be returned within 12 months of invoice date to receive credit.
2. All books must be in undamaged, saleable condition upon receipt in order to receive credit; books received damaged, not in saleable condition, may not qualify for credit.  Autographed books will not be accepted as returns.
3. All returned goods must have been purchased from Echelon Press, LLC directly, according to our records.
4. Send returns to Echelon Press/Quake Returns, 9735 Country Meadows Lane 1-D, Laurel, MD 20723; specify what is being returned, reason for return, and the name and address of who is sending the returns.
5. Do not include correspondences such as payments, order, or other important communications with your returns.
6. Claims on goods that you receive from us damaged or as short shipments, must be made within 10 days of receipt.
7. Claims on such defects as misprints, missing pages, and pages out of alignment must be made within 90 days of invoice date. You will be credited with return postage on defective merchandise.
